When you have an established design, provide the drawing revision, dimensions, tolerances, component materials and finish requirements. Identify the features that must match your existing assembly.
ODM development from an application brief
When the design is still open, describe the hose and connection, available installation space, preferred adjustment method and relevant operating conditions. Photos and sketches help the manufacturer understand the assembly.
Confirm the scope before sampling
Agree which parts require development, whether tooling is needed, how samples will be evaluated and which packaging or marking details are included. Sample cost, tooling cost and timing should be confirmed for the individual project.
Approve the production reference
